It’s one of the few areas left to retain a modicum of mystery due to what it’s like to live there. If you’ve read my blog before then you know that wormhole space is and always will be my home. What I can see is that my feelings are worsened by some of the popular player count graphs distributed by Jestertrek and by EVE Offline. Whether or not this is due to what I’ve previously referred to as “ The Bittervet Disease” I do not know. Put simply, I’ve been bored for a while and I’m honestly worried about the game I love. Really, part of what brings me to write this article is my own apathy and bitterness that I have held towards the state of the EVE for some time. So ultimately the way the game makes you feel is the most important thing, right? I think that I am justified in doing so as games are meant to be emotive experiences to enjoy. I would rather keep a focus on what EVE feels like to play. How is New Eden faring and what, if anything, does EVE need to stay relevant these days? I’ll preface by saying that this article is not going to be massively data-driven simply because I don’t have that data. How about we set aside a bit of time to talk about the state of the game in general. Low end Sleepers are also do-able if you and some friends want to take a day trip to a worm hole (again, using your D-Scan will be added to your routine). It’s 2022 and EVE is fast approaching that fabled third decade. They will be more of a challenge for your Alpha skills and T1 ships the way Incursions are a challenge for Omegas with expensive faction/T2 ships. If it's fleet PvE you are after, you can always fleet up with friends and run things like L4 missions. Once you get tired of lots of competition for poor rewards in high sec, you will be ready to move to low/null and be well ahead of the curve. Take this opportunity to learn! Keep an eye on local, spam your D-Scan.because you will be far better off in low or null sec, and you will need to add those things to your routine when in hostile space. I assume you are going to start off in high sec- so be prepared for a lot of competition for good sites. They are an 'end-game' PvE content.Ĭombat sig sites might be a better route to explore, especially with a Gnosis as your base vehicle. Incursions aren't really aimed at Alphas. Again, remember that they are interested in blitzing the Incursion and taking zero losses- so they have expensive fits and high SP expectations. You may not have the skills available to you as an alpha that the Incursion running groups are looking for. Sorry that I don't have more up to date info hopefully someone with more recent experience will drop into this thread. Searching "eve online incursion fits " also yields some links as well.

Of course just doing a google search for " eve incursions " will get you a decent amount of info. Again I'm not sure how active they are now.

I am not so sure how active it is now-a-days. The BTL Pub channel in game used to be very active and had links in the MotD and were very helpful to new pilots. I can say that back when I did run incursions it was mostly BS fleets with T2 logi. I have not run incursions in several years so I can not tell you if the above link is up to date. Otherwise you can get a bunch of your friends and run them. Certain there are other fleet comps that can work but if you want to run with the communities you have to fly by their rules. These communities have it down to a science mostly and have prescribed ways to run them. They are typically divided into shield or armor fleets but not mixed due to logi having to match tank type. There are entire communities based around doing incursions.
